Separate checks please!

Don’t think that I don’t notice that you order three course meals EVERY time we’re splitting the bill and that when you’re alone its just one entree. Or that your glass of wine appears bottomless in groups and full of water when it’s just you. Why are we choosing the $40/50/60 bottle of wine as a group when alone you only scan the bottom of the menu? You didn’t think I noticed that you looked the other way when the bill came up 10% short. Well I did. It’s frustrating. I didn’t eat the steak, I only had one glass of wine and don’t eat pork. Why then am I paying for the dumplings, the 6 bottles of wine and the well done meat?

Eating in groups. Fun until the bill arrives. I think this rant will strike a chord with quite a few people. If it does just remember you’re not alone.

(Note to readers, if you recently ate with me please don’t take offense, it’s the build up of a lifetime’s worth of dinners)

Seeing Jordan Catalano

At 14, I used to LUV him, now he's skinny with black and red hair and a completely different sound. He was shorter than I thought. Last night thanks to Anu we went to the launch of SV Silk Vodka at Capitale - complete with Cirque du Soliel acrobats dangling from the roof, doll like models dancing in slow motion, but most importantly my first time seeing mr Jared Leto in the flesh. His band, 30 seconds to mars performed - they were actually good and even with the hair Jordan Catalano still has his edge.
