THE CITY OF KINGS, THE QUEEN OF DRAMA

New York City, a city that means so many things to so many people. For me NYC = DRAMA. Something or someone has always gotten in the way of me achieving a good trip. As those who have travelled with me to New York can attest to, I have never had a 'regular' trip to that city.

On the eve of my next trip, a trip that already promises to be full of interesting times, I pray that the only something or someone that gets in my way this time is me.

HARI HARI, TUK TUKS & ZOYSA...

20 days in Sri Lanka...I can't believe its over.

Its been less than a day since I've been back, and I'm still taking it in and trying to sort out some thoughts so expect some sort of structured download of my last few weeks to appear in this space sometime soon.

However...my initial thinking has made me realize that last few weeks were very much a time of firsts:

1. My first ever cricket game. I finally understand the game, something my dad can be proud of :)
2. My first time in Asia. That I remember, travelling as a toddler doesn't count
3. My first trip in a Tuk Tuk (or Trishaw or Auto...whatever you want to call it)
4. My first conference as an AI member
5. My first sunburn since 1999 (the pain..the pain)

Expect some pictures up soon. I just need to remove the "inappropriate" ones...
