Study surprise: alcohol boosts good judgment
I miss Vancouver!!! I'm going through withdrawl. Maybe its the weather, maybe its Toronto, maybe its because I haven't seen the ocean in almost six months, its probably because I have NO idea when I'm going to get to see it all again..
Okay, okay, I'm being a little over dramatic, alot home sick, but a only a little over dramatic...
NLDC 2003...our turnover conference, two MCs coming together to pass the torch from one year to the next (in front of the whole country, so they know whats going on)
How did the conference go?
It was AMAZING, the delegates were great (on time, participating, everything an MC member wants to see ;)), the sessions were on the money, the parties..well, its AIESEC, so of course the parties were good.
For me and my team, these past two weeks have been invaluable. We had the conference we deserved, time to reflect and spend together without any external factors (except the new team, of course). Seeing all 6 of us turn into big saps during the closing plenary was interesting, I felt that all year we kept our emotions away from our membership and for a short, 10 minute moment they all got a window into our year and our personalities, I'm really going to miss these guys...
Its weird now, being back in the office after already saying all my goodbyes...it was an incomplete ending...
5 more weeks until Rotterdam...
wine is good, wine is good, wine is good...
(said under her breath at noon)
Last Thursday at around 7pm Candice, Cynthia, Zhenia and I got into a car and left the confines of Toronto with one objective...to head to a city without a Canadian LC.
